After my panic disorder started, I pursued therapy with a wonderful clinical psychologist who received his training before the recent breakthroughs in this field.
For 2 ½ years, I worked intensively, with all of my heart and mind. But in spite of volumes of hard-won insights, my symptoms and suffering increased.
Finally, I reached a low point. In the depths of my suffering, I found within myself the courage to begin to open up to new resources. My therapist was caring, insightful and empathetic, but I needed other resources for healing. Starting to open up to new resources was the beginning of my healing and cure.
