The key to overcoming agoraphobia is "practice". If you want to learn any skill – a foreign language, playing a musical instrument or learning about computers – you have to make a commitment to regular practice. The same thing is true for overcoming agoraphobia. The first key is the willingness to practice. The second key is being smart in choosing the best kinds of practice! You can do almost anything you can imagine, if you practice correctly. Agoraphobia is a persistent condition, but it needs “avoidance” in order to survive. When faced with a well-designed practice program, it’s days are numbered.
